OJAI, CA. Global Care Quest presented at 16th annual Physician-Computer Connection Symposium hosted by the Association of Medical Directors of Information Systems on 26 July 2007. Global Care Quest presented on the topic of “Using Physician Dashboards” and outlined the possibilities, opportunities and benefits of physician dashboards. Alan Portela, EVP, spoke on the uses of dashboards in the operating room, physician’s office, and while remote—anytime, anywhere access to clinical data. The audience included physicians, CMOs, CMIOs, nurses, and clinicians. The 16th annual Physician-Computer Connection Symposium is a 2 1/2 day program defining the latest issues and advances in the direct physician use of healthcare information systems and technology.
